Teresa Oniru, BA (Hon) Dip. Child Care and Education, is the director of Whiteoaks School Lagos. She has worked in education for over 20 years both in the UK and Nigeria. She has a BA in Early Years' Education and a Diploma in Child Care and Education. She is first aid trained and regularly attends training courses in Nigeria and abroad in roder to stay abreast of changes to the UK national curriculum as well as other educational strategic development across nursery, foundation stage and key stages 1 and 2. An innovative visionary who prides herself in implementing up to date strategies in order to engage and challenge staff, developing children's physical, intellectual, emotional and social development ensuring that the best outcomes are achieved by children in her care.
MARGARET COKER (CURRICULUM DIRECTOR)
Ms. Margaret Coker, Bsc. Biochemistry (Hons) PGCE in Secondary Science (Chemistry) is the curriculum director at Whiteoaks School Lagos. She previously held the position of curriculum co-ordinator in both science and computing at secondary level in a UK local authority; previously held a curriculum director role where she developed a bespoke scheme of work for core subjects across KS3 and KS4. An efficient, innovative and creative administrator who thrives on producing the very best outcomes for students and clients alike. A multi skilled individual who is apt at project managing, planning, delivering and executing events in a crative, professional manner. Excellent people skills, able to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative. Personal interest in education, supporting educational establishments worldwide, sharing skills and ideas; mentoring individuals and training staff to meet set standards.
